In a precedent that is the first of its kind in Fayoum Governorate, and in implementation of the vision of the Ministry of Petroleum and the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation, and in line with the state's general vision to activate the role of corporate social responsibility to improve the health of citizens under the supervision of Mr. Engineer / Medhat Shaaban, Assistant CEO of the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation,

Petrosila Petroleum Company, headed by Mr. Engineer Rashad Abdel Hadi, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Managing Director, Mr. Khalid Gazar, and General Manager, Mr. Khalid Hamdan, Assistant General Manager of Fields, Mr. Ahmed Ali, began combating the causes of blindness and visual impairment in Fayoum Governorate in cooperation with the Mervat Soltan Charitable Foundation.

This project, which built a bridge of trust between the company and the residents of the villages surrounding the company's fields, was evident during the presence of those responsible for corporate social responsibility management in the company, Mr. Mohamed Hassanein Habib, Assistant General Manager of Corporate Social Responsibility, and Mr. Ahmed Fawzi, Manager of Corporate Social Responsibility Department in the company. We conducted a medical convoy in Fayoum Governorate, in the Fayoum Center, in the village of Petrosila, conducting 699 examinations, delivering 348 boxes of medication, delivering 285 medical glasses, and performing 155 surgeries.
