The Central Bank of Egypt donates 50 million pounds to launch the Mervat Soltan Charitable Foundation

Last week witnessed the launch of the Mervat Soltan Charitable Foundation, to complement the contributions of the late Mervat Soltan, who held the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Export Development Bank of Egypt over the past 5 years, during which she achieved many great successes at the banking level with her keenness on charitable work to serve the various people of the country. A need in all areas of social responsibility.

The launch of the charitable organization took place in the presence of the family of Mrs. Mervat Soltan, Mr. Tarek Amer, Governor of the Central Bank, and leaders of Egyptian banks, led by Hisham Okasha, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Bank of Egypt, Mohamed Al-Etreby, Chairman of the Bank of Egypt and Chairman of the Union of Arab Banks, Tarek Fayed, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bank of Cairo, and Lamees. Negm, Advisor to the Governor of the Central Bank for Social Responsibility, Mohamed Badir, CEO of QNB Al Ahly Bank, Ashraf El-Kady, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the United Bank, and Dr. Ahmed Galal, Vice President of the Egyptian Export Development Bank.

The launch was also attended by Walid Nagy, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Land Bank of Egypt, Mohamed Ali, CEO and Managing Director of Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank - Egypt, Hisham El Sakka, Managing Director of Attijariwafa Bank Egypt, Ahmed Issa, CEO of the Retail Banking Sector at Commercial International Bank CIB, and Ghada. Ghaith is Head of the Corporate Communications Sector at the Export Development Bank of Egypt, as well as the leadership of the Export Development Bank of Egypt.
